On June 16, 2024, Ferrari celebrated its 11th victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, marking the second consecutive win for the 499P following its landmark Centenary triumph. The team of Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen in the #50 Ferrari 499P joined the ranks of Le Mans champions, alongside last year’s winners Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi.
This year’s race was intense, with rain disrupting strategies for many of the 23 Hypercar teams. Ferrari, however, once again prevailed.
A new highlight this year was the privately entered Ferrari 499P #83, from AF Corse in striking Giallo Modena yellow. Driven by Maranello stars Yifei Ye, Robert Shwartzman, and Robert Kubica, this car made a bold impression, leading for 83 laps and maintaining the spotlight for much of the race. Though forced to retire after 248 laps, the #83 delivered a powerful performance, even keeping the two signature red 499P Ferraris at bay for a time.
